- You can save a draft of your work if you would like to finish filling out the form at a later date.
- If anything changes with the information you submitted, please request to edit the submission.
- Submittable works best on Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Internet Explorer is not supported. Please make sure you are using a supported browser.
- We will follow up with you about your submission by email. Please be sure to safelist notification emails from Submittable and check the email you used to sign up for your Submittable account regularly. We suggest using a personal email as schools and organizations may have firewalls which prevent us from being able to contact you.

Eligibility for High School Student Submission
- Be at the 12th-grade level in private, public, or home-schooled education.
- Have a parent or legal guardian who is a PEC member in good standing (or be a PEC member as defined in the PEC Tariff)
- Plan to attend a university, college, junior college, technical, or trade school to obtain an undergraduate-level degree or trade certification.
Eligibility for Adult Student Submission
- Be over 18, with a GED or high school diploma.
- Be a PEC member or reside in a household served by PEC and in good standing.
- Plan to attend a university, college, junior college, technical, or trade school to obtain an undergraduate-level degree or trade certification.
Rules
- Applications for the PEC Scholarship Program must be submitted online via the PEC website. Applications submitted by mail or dropped off in person at a PEC office will not be accepted.
- No more than one entry per applicant may be submitted.
- Online submissions with required documents must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. PEC has the right to extend the scholarship program deadline when deemed appropriate.
Scoring
Scoring will be based on three sections: resume, essay, and financial need.
- The applicants resume accounts for 50% of the overall score.
- The submitted essay accounts for 25%.
- Financial need accounts for the remaining 25%.
